Larger threat, definitely yes it is because if larger groups will jump in to the conflict MNLF, MILF the Sultanate of Maguindanao and all other clans and tribe, it will be a total chaos out there and the government is playing safe because obviously it is election time so they dont want to take the blame and be neutral about it, it is very obvious that the government cannot protect our territories because of lack of firepower on air at sea or at grounds we cannot launch offensive against our enemies. It is about a decade a ago that we a have a flying jets today none.
But looking to the other side of the story if the Phillipines will claim Sabah and also the Sultanate of Sulu claiming also Sabah then it will be a privately owned territory then the Phillipines will lease also to the Sultanate and its families, it is weird though. Our Muslim brothers for this is a fact I been to North Cotabato we have a close relatives there based on their stories dont trust them before you know they will sell you for their own deeds. They dont want to get a job because they have a lot of land they just want to sell it for instant money then if they want to take it back they just say "why are you christians grab our lands you are not belong here" they are powerful out there because they have a large families and families and families they are allowed of many wives and make as many children as possible they can fill up a whole barangay in an instant.
Once upon a time where my mom and late lola and lola came to north cotabato to settle there for good, my mom is still freshly looking mestiza before there is a grandson of a datu that want to get engage to my mon although she did not want to be obviously because hes not good looking, he has been offended for my mom declining the offer. They want to snatch my mom but my uncle hes the one introduce the grandson for they are friends, my uncle they were settled in first so they got acquainted for some muslims, my uncles make some drastic actions against them first and so my lolos family rushing up to get away to the place and came back here in Luzon for quite some time war broke out in Mindanao.
We dont judge them for being muslims and they're faith.. Every human being if the question of protection of family and the protection of faith one stand to protect it no matter what the consequence is. Not only Allah and the Sign of Cross got blood in their hands we are human being and the like of animals we are opt to protect our territories against all odds.
